Hundreds of thousands of people in Cameroon have never had the chance to read or write, leaving them vulnerable to exploitation and unable to understand written Scripture.

By giving the gift of a literacy to a whole literacy class, you will be providing students with:
Education
The confidence that students gain through success in their mother-tongue literacy classes will motivate them to continue their education, pursuing dreams that were once thought to be out of reach.
Empowerment
Students will learn about civilian rights and responsibilities, helping them independently manage their own affairs, know their rights, and defend themselves.

Equipped with literacy skills, students will be able to comprehend the Bible in their heart language as it is translated.
