President/Chief executive officer
OneBook is seeking a President/CEO. Leading the OneBook staff, managing donor relationships and engaging new opportunities while staying connected with the needs of national partners across many continents will be no small job. This role will require a leader that is a strong and engaging communicator. Someone that can understand and convey the stories of our partner organizations and their needs effectively to our faithful donors in Canada. Travel across the country to raise support and connect with existing donors and future donors is expected. This role will require a seasoned leader—able to set and execute on vision, lead and grow the OneBook team, nurture donors and partnerships, and inspire generosity across Canada. Key Responsibilities •Leadership: Lead strategic vision development, planning, and execution in alignment with OneBook’s mission and values. Oversee staff, culture, and systems. Work collaboratively with the Board for governance and financial accountability. •Engagement and Communication: Strengthen partnerships with national organizations, donors, churches, and mission networks. Represent OneBook publicly as a credible voice for the transforming power of God’s Word and its mission. •Fundraising: Champion fundraising efforts, donor relations, and external engagement. Ideal Candidate •Mature, Spirit-led follower of Jesus Christ with deep personal faith. •Passion for Bible translation, literacy, and holistic community development. Previous experience is a strong asset. •Excellent communicator and relationship-builder with strong network. •Proven ability in fundraising, partnership-building, and donor engagement. •Demonstrated senior leadership experience, preferably in faith-based or international organizations and in effectively leading a hybrid staff of in-office and remote employees. •Strategic thinker with strong financial literacy and organizational acumen to corporate assets. •Fluency in English required; French or other languages an asset. •Humble, adaptable, and mission-driven.
