Ted Seres
CEO
Ted is passionate about fulfilling the Great Commandment and the Great Commission, and seeing people connect with God in their own language. Before joining OneBook, he served as the National Director of the Canadian Bible Society. Ted is an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC), where he has served in pastoral ministry missions with newcomers to Canada, First Nations leadership, and chaplaincy.

Martin Engeler
Director of Program
Martin’s passion is sharing the power of the living word so that people may be transformed and become followers of Jesus Christ. Martin has served in various roles at OneBook, first using his training in audio and video to further Scripture engagement in Africa, then taking on a role in program support, and eventually becoming Program Director.  He and his wife Chrissy have served in the Bible Translation movement for over 30 years, first in Cameroon and then in Canada.

Jerry is a passionate advocate for Bible translation and literacy. For the past 33 years, he has served in multiple roles in project management and resource development within the Bible translation movement in Mozambique, South Africa, and Canada. He joined OneBook in 2007 when he was seconded from Wycliffe Bible Translators.

Canna is passionate about helping people. She has been a part of the OneBook team for the past eight years, where she enjoys serving God with her accounting skills and seeing His great work around the world. Canna graduated from SAIT with an applied degree in Accounting.

Morgan is passionate about language and theology. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Honours Psychology from the University of Waterloo, and a Master of Arts in Christian Studies from Ambrose Seminary. She is excited to bring her administrative gifts to OneBook and to contribute to an organization that is making a meaningful difference in the world. In her spare time she also enjoys music, cardmaking, and writing.

Lynette comes to OneBook with experience in project management in Africa. She now enjoys living and working out of multi-ethnic Toronto. Over the years Lynette has been inspired by local communities who trust God and work together to overcome obstacles and achieve project goals.

Larry is passionate about building relationships with donors, and especially delights in thanking people for their giving and praying with them. Larry has been a part of the OneBook staff since inception. He currently serves in multiple roles as the Calgary office manager, donor relations coordinator, and editor of the monthly prayer bulletin.

Kelsey is delighted to see lives being changed through literacy and translation initiatives, and enjoys contributing her communication skills to that process. After graduating from the University of Calgary, she worked in administration before coming to OneBook. She is passionate about writing, Korea, and travel, and especially loves when those interests intersect.

David longs for all people to have an opportunity to know God deeper through His Word. David serves as the OneBook liaison for Kenya, as well as looking after the technical needs of the organization. He lives on a farm in BC with his wife Neva and two of his three children.

Marvin Busenius

Marvin grew up in Edmonton, AB and has the heritage of a strong Christian family. Sensing God's call on his life, he prepared for ministry by attending university and seminary. Relationships are a major priority in Marvin's life, and he believes relationships extend into pastoral care and Kingdom impact, whether formal or informal. Marvin has a passion for ministry and Kingdom causes, especially related to the importance and authority of God's Word.

After ten years writing for OneBook, Sarah moved into the role of Development Lead in Spring 2021. She is more passionate than ever about the wholistic impact of language and literacy, and delights in raising awareness of how mother-tongue Scripture and resources are transforming entire communities forever. Sarah is active in her local church, and loves travelling the world with her family.

Dave is passionate about Bible translation, and was instrumental in the formation of OneBook. He served with Wycliffe Bible Translators for 47 years, and now holds the position of OneBook International Ambassador. He also serves as a translation consultant, currently working on the FNV New Testament project.
