Lynette comes to OneBook with experience in project management in Africa. She now enjoys living and working out of multi-ethnic London, ON. Over the years Lynette has been inspired by local communities who trust God and work together to overcome obstacles and achieve project goals.

Laura Lapsley
In 2015, Laura became a part of OneBook after spending many years working in the tech industry. She considers herself fortunate to be part of such an amazing mission -bringing Bibles and literacy to communities in their own language. Laura has various roles at OneBook - HR, IT, Admin, Communications and overall Operations. Most importantly, she loves to keep things running smoothly. Laura enjoys reading, travel, and watching the Toronto Blue Jays.

Larry is passionate about building relationships with donors, and especially delights in thanking people for their giving and praying with them. Larry has been a part of the OneBook staff since inception. He currently serves through his skills in graphic arts and being the donor relations coordinator. He also assists in the finance area in various tasks like acknowledgements and receipts.

Julia is passionate about sharing individual’s stories. She finds it a delight, therefore, to support the OneBook team by sharing with others the transformative work of Bible translation—and the faithfulness of God. Julia has received a degree in English at Tyndale University and lives in Ottawa, Ontario.

She is excited to be part of this vibrant team where she can use her skill set for global impact. Retired, Blair has served in pastoral ministry in the GTA, spent eight years ministering in Indonesia, and dedicated 24 years to mission leadership. With experience in over 75 countries, he has witnessed firsthand the transformative power of Scripture in people’s heart language for evangelism, discipleship, and church growth.

With over 30 years of involvement in the Bible translation movement, Alex currently serves as the Director for Oral Bible translation (OBT) with Faith Comes By Hearing. Alex is passionate about building capacity in oral language communities to translate God’s word in a medium they can use in their daily lives.

Shailene is a CPA with an accounting firm serving churches and other charities. Compelled by the love of Christ and passion for spreading the Gospel, she founded a charity to support Christian ministries in the Philippines and Honduras.
